Bring your inner child to work – every day! Coming to work every day surrounded by toys, collectables and rare items whilst working for a company with over 100 years’ history of bringing joy to generations is a dream job for a craft maker, a dream builder – a Master of Miniature.

The WonderWorks in Margate is looking for a Master of Miniature; a craftsperson and entertainer – a WOW job for a wonderful person who can help to spread the happiness that comes from being immersed in a hobby that transports you to another place and time.

Could you be a Master of Miniature?

The WonderWorks is looking for someone whose dream is to be immersed in the world of modelling, and to spend each day surrounded by famous brands such as Airfix, Corgi, Hornby, Pocher and Scalextric.

It takes a special person to master their hobby so that it becomes a craft. These are skills that cannot be taught, it is a passion that transcends the everyday. Would you like to show off your modelling skills, engage with and educate visitors to the exhibition, and share your excitement for the world of miniature?

If you think you have what it takes to become a Master of Miniature, please get in touch.

The WonderWorks is an incredible immersive experience, showcasing world-famous hobby, toy, collectable and specialist brands from Hornby Hobbies. The reimagined tourist attraction is opening its doors to the public on 30th October, with a new energy, new miniature worlds including Micro Scalextric Gotham City and showstopper exhibition pieces including the Ferret armoured car and a motorcycle used in the latest James Bond film available to see up close*.

Located in Margate, Kent in part of the old factory that has been home to the famous brands for almost 70 years, the former visitor centre has attracted hundreds of thousands of visitors from around the world and has been featured on TV series ‘Hornby: A Model World’.

Everything about the experience has changed except for the price. Tickets for The WonderWorks experience will remain at just £5 per adult, with concessions available for families, children, and groups. Visitors are also welcome to visit the shop or to enjoy homemade treats in the café without entering the paid exhibition.
